A whirlwind week so far …

It has been a whirlwind week so far … lots been going on …

How do you like the new Christmas skin on the site? I want to sincerely thank my good friend, engineer and now web designer: Richard Cleaver for his amazing work on this site and the fresh look!

Sent out a long overdue BREAKING NEWS UPDATE to all my friends and supporters on Monday from “Flyingbow central” … if you are reading this or connected via facebook, I am sure you had a chance to read it.

In between the work on this … and getting prepared for the tour, Le-Anne and I have been working like crazy putting the final coats of paint on walls and trim in the basement studio and family room to stay ahead of the install of our new flooring. Here are a few pics.

The new flooring in the studio entrance was installed on Monday …

As I write, Scharmazian’s (the local flooring company who is doing the work) is installing carpet in the family room and studio. It is exciting to see this part of the project coming together. The smell of glue is thick in the air … hmm, may be a good day to take Le-Anne out for lunch!

I still need to do a bit of practising (yes, I practise!) this afternoon (in between students) on the material for the upcoming Living Christmas Tree – The Cradle that Rocked the World in Moncton, NB. The band and I had a rehearsal on Monday night to brush up on the G&P Material. Went great – sure was fun to be together again! We welcomed Paul Neufeld to the rehearsal who will be joining us on keyboard for the Ontario leg of the tour. Brad Toews, who has now moved to Halifax with wife and family, will be joining us for the East Coast leg – starting in P.E.I this weekend. It will be great to see him again.  I have to say … I am really excited about this tour. It is going to be amazing!

God bless the rest of your week … until next time … TD
